Fred is a motivated scholar who enjoys interacting with nature with an aim of discovering new knowledge and unexploited niche. He is a team player, pays attention to detail and ready to accept responsibility. He loves travelling and so far, he has travelled to Johannesburg-RSA, Kigali-Rwanda, Beijing, Shanghai-China on a variety of missions. Special mention is the Beijing & Shanghai visit where he actively participated in a high-level environmental governance training course which focused on relationships between development and environmental protection. He attained Bachelor of Education Science at Chancellor College with focus on Biology. Currently he is working with the Civil Service under the Malawi Government stationed in Thyolo, Malawi.
He has developed diverse experience in working with community structures that play a cross-section of roles especially those that are skewed towards environmental management. He has so far played a pivotal role in the development of the District State of Environment & Outlook Report and District Development Plan for Phalombe and Thyolo respectively. He is currently in a process of developing a reading guide for senior secondary school Biology. He intends to study in detail the biodiversity challenges of the fauna that exist in the homogeneous forms of plantations and tree species in Thyolo Estates.
